The 14 partners of RISEWISE project met last March in the wonderful city of Guimaraes, north of Portugal, for the project and review meeting, which took place at FRATERNA premises.
This small but very active town hosts in fact two partners of the project: the University do Minho, the third Portuguese university, multidisciplinary of high level in research and innovation, and FRATERNA, a NGO active in the fied of social inclusion, gender equality and disability.

The meeting represented a key point for further project implementation and for confrontation with the EC.
The positive results given by the activities since now were very well appreciated and evaluated by the EC.
Women with disability are the centre of RISEWISE and will be the centre of specific initiatives sponsored by REA and EC in the next future.
The partnership will meet again for a plenary meeting in Brescia, Italy, during next October. In the meantime many open and public events are already planned, to let citizenship be engaged with the project and its focus.
